Hello! I am entering my 18th year teaching at Willow Cove. I attended Pittsburg High School and graduated as a Pirate many years ago. In high school, I played football and threw discus and shotput for the Track and Field team. I also was a proud member of the award winning Pirates Marching Show Band and Jazz Ensemble as a saxophonist. After high school, I attended Los Medanos College and enjoyed playing music there before graduating with my Associates of Arts Degree. From there, I went to Hayward State to earn my B.A. in Liberal Studies with a Minor in Music. I earned my Teaching Credential and Master's Degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University. Then a few years ago, I completed my Administrative Credential at California State University at East Bay as I am hoping to one day become principal of my own school.
I have been married to my awesome wife, Nicole, for 8 years and we have two amazingly bright kids, Lucia and Nikko who keep us plenty busy with soccer and ballet.
I love to root for my 49ers, Giants, and Warriors. But I also love to just sit back and read kids chapter books or put together puzzles to relax.
My favorite place in the world to be is a toss up between Lake Tahoe and Disneyland. Yes, I know every movie, and every Disney song by heart!
There you go, a few facts about me!
